Perry Shusterman
Perry Shusterman joined Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP as a New York City personal injury attorney in 2015. Her focus is in the area of personal injury, toxic torts, products liability, and premises liability cases. Since working at Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, Ms. Shusterman has obtained extensive experience investigating, managing, and prosecuting asbestos cases and personal injury cases.
Prior to joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, Ms. Shusterman worked at various Plaintiffs’ and Defense personal injury firms, and for the late Hon. J. Duane A. Hart. The experience of working on both sides of the bar and in the judiciary gives Perry a unique perspective and a well-rounded vision for her practice. Ms. Shusterman co-authored a New York Law Journal Article titled “Timing of Expert Disclosure under CPLR 3101(d),” which discussed whether expert disclosure had to be completed prior to the filing of the Note of Issue.
Ms. Shusterman takes pride and satisfaction in helping her clients obtain justice through the court system. The close relationships she develops with clients allow them to feel at ease as she guides them through the litigation process.
Ms. Shusterman received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Shusterman is admitted to practice in all New York and New Jersey State Courts.
